Join the Visual Art League of Lewisville for its monthly general meeting at Lewisville Grand Theater.
Each month in conjunction with the general meeting, VAL produces an “Art Talk” series of known speakers and art demonstrations that are free and open to the public. This month get to know the members of the Visual Art League of Lewisville.
During the event members will be thanked for their support over the past year. There will be a year in review of activities members members have participated in. Attendees will learn about “hidden” opportunities to exhibit artwork that you may not be aware of, and you’ll meet the people who lead these opportunities. There will also be an opportunity to learn more about the group.
The event is open to longtime members, lapsed members, new members and non-members.
VAL members are encouraged to bring art for the Artist of the Month. All attendees will have a chance to vote for their favorite artwork. Two awards will be given. (Artists who have already won First Place for Artist of the Month this year are automatically entered into the Artist of the Year opportunity. We welcome you to vote but no art submission will be accepted)
To reach The Grand from I-35E, take exit 452 and proceed east on Main Street to Charles Street. The Grand will be on the left. Free public parking is available along Main and Church streets, or at Lewisville City Hall.
