Join the Visual Art League of Lewisville for an informal and inspiring “chat” session at the Lewisville Grand Theater. VAL members who have art in the Cowboys and Critters exhibition will discuss the who, what, and why behind their art on display. Artists will share the dramatic details, the mishaps and their triumphs! This is a wonderful opportunity for artists and the community to gather and exchange ideas.
Join, listen, and ask questions in a positive setting where people are encouraged to uplift, learn, gather inspiration, and build community.
Light snacks are included in this free event.
Two awards will be presented during the event;
- Lasting Impressions Award: $50
- Inspiration Award: $50
The art awards will be held in conjunction with Conversations with Artists. Those in attendance will vote for the winning entries after the Conversations with Artists has concluded. All submissions in the exhibit have an opportunity to win an award. (Artists do not have to speak to be eligible to receive an award).
To reach The Grand from I-35E, take exit 452 and proceed east on Main Street to Charles Street. The Grand will be on the left. Free public parking is available along Main and Church streets, or at Lewisville City Hall.
