In this workshop presented by the Visual Art League of Lewisville, Crystal Nelson will showcase the versatility of Gelli printing. She will demonstrate transfers, masks, stencils, stamping, textures, and many more techniques. Students will explore layering using plant material and texture tools on a variety of papers.

Crystal will also reveal the variety of recycled and inexpensive objects you can use to create interesting effects. 

There will be demonstrations, handouts and plenty of time to play. This workshop is for beginners as well as experienced artists. If you are interested in fun and exploration, this workshop is for you!

Materials: All materials will be included, however, if you have your own Gelli plate please bring it, there are extra Gelli plates available for students who need one or if you would like to try a different size or shape. (New Gelli plates will also be available for purchase.) 

*Paint will also be provided but if you have favorite colors or brands of acrylic paint, please feel free to bring them.
